OhMugOdd was my first electro-acoustic composition created at the Aspen Music Festival in 1997 while working with composer Paul Rudy. The piece is constructed out of a single very brief recording of a mug being placed down carelessly on a table. Since a mug is the starting point for most of our days (at least for us coffee or tea drinkers) it seemed as good a place as any to begin a little sound fantasy.
